Caribbean Cruise

This year my husband and I went on our first tropical cruise to the Caribbean! We sailed for a week on the Carnival Vista from Miami to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, Mexico. This was one of the best adventures I've gone on, Joseph and I absolutely love cruises now! It's basically an all-inclusive resort sailing to dreamy destinations.

We tried to make the most of each day at the ports. However, Jamaica was a bit of a flop for us because we paid way too much for the local drivers to take us on a "15-20 min drive downtown." Turned out we could have easily walked there and there wasn't much to see except for a bunch of shops with merchants trying to get people to overpay for souvenirs. So if you end up going, I would suggest just going to the beach or an excursion through the cruise line. Nevertheless, there was plenty to do on the ship like going to the pools, playing putt putt or soccer pool, watching live shows (our favorite was the comedy), and hanging out with some people we knew that also went on the cruise.

In the Grand Cayman, we spent the day snorkeling and just relaxing on the beach. I actually found some money in the local currency (it wasn't much but pretty cool) while snorkeling, let it dry on the beach, then used it later at one of the shops! LOL

Probably one of our favorite parts was the all-you-can-eat restaurants, especially the dinners. It was fun to dress up a bit at night and eat delicious meals. I mean, does it really get better than that?

Our last stop was Cozumel, Mexico and it was beautiful. We spent most of the day relaxing and hanging out with dolphins of course...you know, just your everyday swim with some of the most amazing animals!

My only complaint is that I wish we could've had more time at each location! But the cruise was definitely worth the trip. All in all, this was a great vacation and we're definitely going on another one soon!
